Weekly Beauty Evening

For me, there’s nothing more relaxing than a little pamper session at home and I try to do once a week no matter how busy I am. Lucky for me due to my mum being a work from home beautician and a self confessed beauty addict I’ve grown up always having access to a full range of nail varnishes, face masks and other beauty saviours. However, the only down side to this is that I am now too a beauty junky and have spent endless Saturdays wondering around my local Space NK spending my student loan (oops) on various lotions and potions.

The following items are a mixture of my current and all time favourite beauty buys which I use when I fancy indulging in my weekly beauty ritual evening.

Kiehls Creme de Corps – This is by far the best body moisturiser I’ve ever tried. It was bought initially as a present but ever since I’ve been hooked and unable to go back to using anything else. I’ve tried, but hopelessly failed every time. So although this cream has turned into a slightly expensive addiction I couldn’t recommend this body cream enough.

REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask – I religiously put this mask on once a week and it’s honestly a miracle in a tube. Having really struggled with my skin for a couple of years while going through various acne treatments and also having annoyingly sensitive skin I was a little worried how my skin would react when first trying this, though once applied I was really surprised how gentle the mask was. I usally leave the mask on for around 20 minutes while the glycolatic acid exfoliates and dissolves away any dirt that’s built up on the skin. Once washed off your skin visably looks brighter and feels squeaky clean.

Eve Lom TLC Cream – I started using this as my night cream a few months ago and it’s honestly a godsend. Its not only extremely mosturising and soothing, but leaves your skin feeling baby soft. It softens, smoothes, brightens and you wake up with more refreshed, brightened and radiant skin. What’s not to love?!

Mauli Himalayan Healing Bath Salts – As I workout 6 times a week these salts are my poor achy muscles best friend! I swear by them to help my joints and muscles feel relaxed and repaired. And although you may think I’m slightly crazy to spend money on what looks like pink baby pebbles in a beautifully crafted pot they are truly a life saviour and last for ages. Not only that, these salts in a warm 20 minute bath are bliss helping you de-stress and feel a real sense of clarity and inner peace. Heaven!

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Sugar Body Polish – I really love this body scrub, its both very exfoliating and moisturizing (win, win). My skin always feels a million times better after using it and I really miss it when I run out.

Vita Liberata Tanning Lotion – Over the years I’ve experiemented with a ridiculously wide range of tanning products and had my fair share of tanning experiences, both good and bad (!!!). However, I can honest hold my hands up and say that this is without a doubt the best I’ve tried. Although I don’t religiously fake tan when I’m in need of an extra lift in the colder months, or if I know I’ll be getting my legs out, I’ll make sure to apply some of this the night before. Not only does it help achieve the perfect all over even skin colour that every girl wants, it also doesn’t streak and fades perfectly with no patching!

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Colour  – I was recently introduced to this little gem and I love it! Its quick but really works. I apply it on the ends and lengths of my hair and pin it up on the top of my head whilst having a bath before rinsing it off at the end. It’s incredibly nourishing and always leaves my hair super soft and healthier looking.
